Very interesting thing happened today on my run. At the very beginning of my run on the MKT, two deer emerged from the woods on my left. I stopped to watch them for a short time. After a while, I attempted to get past them so I could continue. I got past one successfully, but as I tried to get past the other it broke into a trot. I started running behind it, and behind me the other deer began to follow me. So for about a quarter mile, I ran the MKT stuck in between two deer.
Also ran into Gab on the way back, interrupted run to have a short conversation.
Ran to the .5 marker of MKT trail. (Google maps approximation 1.25 miles). Ran to 5.0 marker, then back. Stretched and ran back.
Approximate total: 11.5 miles
Running monthly total: 119.5 miles
Running yearly total: 206 miles
